Elliott is a Canadian set and costume designer for theatre and opera based in London.
He is a graduate of Edinburgh's Scenehouse Programme and also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design from the University of British Columbia, where he was twice the winner of the Theatre Department's Peter Loeffler Memorial Prize.
Theatre design credits include Midnight: A New Musical (The Union Theatre) [Nominated for an Off-West End Award for Best Set Design & remounted in Seoul, South Korea], Cartas Vivas (Cervantes Theatre & Teatro de La Abadía, Madrid), and The Seagull (UBC Theatre).
Opera credits include The Boatswain's Mate & La canterina (Buxton International Festival), Rip Van Winkle (Gothic Opera), Candide (Blackheath Halls Opera), Giulio Cesare (Bury Court Opera) and Captain Blood's Revenge (Norfolk Into Opera Festival).
Elliott has also acted as a design associate (assistant, model maker & draughtsperson) to a variety of leading designers. He has previously assisted on productions with Chichester Festival Theatre, Creation Theatre, Hampstead Theatre, and he has costume supervised for the Royal Academy Opera at The Royal Academy of Music.
Elliott has led design workshops with The BRIT School, Chichester Festival Theatre & Half Moon Theatre. He has designed productions at Guildford School of Acting, East 15 Acting School, Italia Conti, The Institute for Contemporary Theatre, and Mountview.
